Sweet Treats: Coffee and Donuts

Have you ever gone to the It's all natural Vegan Market?

🔸This little pop up happens about once a month and features local small businesses that specialize in vegan goods.

🔸This has been a great place to try vegan treats, especially if you're new to the vegan food scene.

Today I stopped by for the ultimate combo: Coffee and Donuts.

COFFEE: Two Tigers

🔸Two Tigers has been on my list for sooooo long, but they've been hard to find. This little coffee pop up is the cutest.

🔸It's literally just one guy, pumping out lattes with an espresso machine and a smile. I tried the mocha and was very impressed by it.

🔸Not only did it taste great, but it was super cool to watch the entire process step by step. If you ever see them, definitely stop and try something. You will not regret it.

DONUTS: Monster Baby Donuts

🔸I also tried Monster Baby Donuts, who will open at East Market this coming Friday 10/27.

🔸These mini donuts are absolutely adorable. They are about the size of a regular donut hole, but actually a shaped as a small baby donut.

🔸They seemed to be cake donuts. Not served warm but, per the size and flavor profile, somewhat similar to the mini fried donuts you can get at a fair.

🔸These are Vegan and Gluten Free, sold for $1.50 each or $9 per 6 pack.

🔸A tad bit pricey, but I enjoyed them, so it's definitely worth a try, especially if you are looking for a vegan and gluten free treat.

🔸The donuts are good. Again, it's similar to a cake like donut. They're small and pretty much melt in your mouth. I'd say it's a one bite type of thing.

🔸I enjoyed the icings which were not overly sweet and the sprinkles added a nice texture to the mix. I did get a bit of grainy aftertaste with these, but that's pretty common with gluten free items.

🔸The grainy feel was hardly noticeable and would not steer me from getting them again.

🔸Overall, I thought they were pretty good. I'm interested in trying more flavors but I'll wait to see if they have an option to try just 1 or 2 at their shop.
